On June 18, 2005 the Yonkers
HIV/AIDS Providers Task Force held their Annual HIV Prevention Fair at
the Getty Square Municipal Parking Lot, 'Chicken Island' in Yonkers, New
York.
The Task Force Member
Organizations handed out literature on HIV/AIDS, conducted small
educational classes and showed videos free of charge to all who
attended.
The day was filled with the
music of the Madera Fina Orchestra playing wonderful Salsa, also the
inspirational Gospel songs of the Greystone Theatre Project, and the
Hip-Hop performance of singer Tess Santos. The event also included
Dancers and Clowns, who entertained kids and adults alike.
