Compassion In Action Awards Breakfast
On Saturday, June 14th, 2008 from 10 am till
Noon the Sharing Community held our Compassion In Action Awards Breakfast.
The event occured at the Roosevelt Ballroom in the historic Philipsburgh Building
located at #2-8 Hudson Street, Yonkers, NY. This year we honored
Mr. William Griffin, Chairman of Hudson Valley Bank for his many years of
support to the Sharing Community and the City of Yonkers.
Mayor Amicone and Vice President of the Sharing Community Board of Directors Rev'd DeForest Raphael Jack Brennan, Secretary of the Sharing Community Board of Directors Guest Speaker Barbara addresses guests about the support received from the Sharing Community that helped change her life. State Senator Andrea Stewart-Cousins Angelo Martinelli, Treasurer of the Sharing Community Board of Directors. Mayor Amicone presents a City of Yonkers Award to the Honoree, Mr. William Griffin, Chairman of Hudson Valley Bank. Council Member Dee Barbato presents Mr. Griffin with Yonkers City Council Proclamation Angelo Martinelli introduces the honoree. Rev'd Anthony Hoeltzel stands with Mr. William Griffin after receiving the Compassion In Action Award.
